13-1/16 x 5/8 x 1/8 HSS Planer Blades - Set of 3 for Woodworking - Silver

I was a bit reluctant to purchase these since I was almost done with the project I was working on, and they weren't exactly cheap. I ended up purchasing them and I wish I had done it sooner. These made a huge difference in the quality of the boards and made the job so much easier.

These arrived well packaged without any damage. The knives all weighed within .0001of each other and they are all of exactly the same size. I am a furniture maker and use these in an old nameless planer that I have set up specifically for planing thin parts for bend lamination construction and so sharp well balanced blades are really important. So far they've been used everyday since they arrived and I am not seeing any appreciable deterioration of the quality of the surfaces they leave on planed material!

Well made but too high for my Jet JPM 13 planer which is listed as one of the machines it fits.

I bought a set of these blades for my 13 inch Jet Planer / Moulder. They were about half the price of othe brands of relplacement blades. The quality was better than the original blades. There were no grinder markes visible on the bevel and the sharpnes was "scary". Installed, they worked really well on oak and hard maple.I actually think my planer ran smoother and more quietly with these blades. I immediately ordered a set for my 6" jointer with the same results. These are excellent blades!

Ordered these for my jet planer jpm 13. Installed quick and made nice little shavings on my test board.

Perfect fit for my 13" Jet planer/molder. Not sure if they're quite as sharp as the original blades, but did a great job on rough cherry boards
