I had an original that had the beige peculiar fabric. That was all weird and had worked for 20 years or more. Well, my 5 pound Chihuahua finally burned it up. My Chihuahua didn't like the one for dogs because it's hard. So I bought another one and looked at the prices and looked at what they do in All the fancy. We Americans do love our fancy. And I just got another sun beam. With a pretty blue cover easily washed, easily brushed to take off Chihuahua/terrier mix hair. And it's low is what was left of the 20 year old ones high. But I never got to use it. At such a good price I bought a second one for me. Can you imagine what actually happened? Yes, you're right. It turned into one in the bedroom and one in the living room for the dog. But I get it when I need it. I even have one put away right now. I love this product low medium high it wraps beautifully. It's a piece of cake and it will get good and warm as you turn it up. I think it's a great treasure at the price I was able to buy it which was under $18. They are also good to have for guests who have driven a long way for the winter and need something for their low back or their shoulder. Enjoy.

I have been looking for this size heating pad that has NO auto shut off. My use for this item is someone unusual. I use it at the bottom of my bird’s nighttime cage. She is in this cage at night for at least 10 to 11 hours and the heater must run for that entire time (hence no auto shut off wanted). I purchased another heating pad and it would only run on high for 90 minutes and then would drop down to medium heat level. I wanted an analog controller and this heating pad has it. It heats to a decent heat level and the price is very fair. I was so impressed that I bought 3 of these total.

It’s basic, it’s simple, it works!I wasted time and money on two of the more expensive brands with fancy switches just to return them. They didn’t stay warm or work properly. This one here has 3 simple temps.. low, med and high. They all work and very well! 100% recommend!

I read recent reviews and yes it hasn't changed much through the years (model I have is longer now), but its reliable and helps my lower back. The wiring out of the plastic heating element seems to be the same and does get twisted every now and then, but no big deal. The heat intensity control is fine for me and a nice addition. The cover is washable, so I'd give it a 5 star if the designers could come up with a better connection to the heating element.

Fits amazing and gets hot enough to relax. I even sometimes take off the cloth part of if I need to on my neck. Love this one better than any of the fancy ones.

My old pad is ancient, but beloved. However, i purchased this as backup and glad i did. Brand new so have not used it much, but excellent!

I use these for kitten bottle-babies (kittens that young cannot regulate their own body temperature). I buy this one because it has a "low" setting and does not turn itself off (important for use with kittens). Recommended for the use to which I put it.

I love the Sunbeam Heating pads and have been using them for years. I purchased 2 of the king size this time and I'm happy with how it heats but not happy with the cover and the sharpness of the protruding electrical cord connection to the pad. The pad comes out of the cover and then you get the plastic (VERY hot) against your skin. I have gotten scratched by the sharp plastic electrical cord that is just on the outside of the cover. I have had to do a make shift cover for that area so that I don't get injured. This is on both pads that I received. I also have had to come up with a velcro closure to keep the cover from coming out of the envelope opening. The picture on the product description shows a different type of closure and doesn't show the electrical stem of the pad protruding out of the cover like the ones that were received. I have attached photos of the cover and how it doesn't stay put and the sharp area attaching the cord that sticks out of the pad, and the 3rd photo is of the picture on the Amazon site showing the difference in the product cover that is marketed and what was received.
