Calculus III Essentials (Volume 3) (Essentials Study Guides)

I give the shipper 5 stars for sending the item on time as sated. The book itself isn't as helpful as I hoped it'd be. Its filled with definitions and formulas. This book is for someone who knows their calculus and will understand the material. However if you're like me who needs a break down of the definitions and needs to see examples this book will NOT help. This book contains no examples whatsoever. My text book is more helfupful than this but I needed further help and examples and this definitely wasn't the right tool.

A lot less than i expected.

God for review, even for those, like me, haven't studied calculus for years. The topics which I really don't remember, though, have to be studied in other books. Even with these hard topics I could use the book for later review.

it will complement your notes just fine, but its not comprehensive and not a great reference book. Since this book works best as a complement to your notes, i would suggest this book only if you take good notes. Otherwise it loses some value, and your better off with a textbook, maybe. The price makes it a low risk, if it did not work for you its not a big waste of money.

Good for reviewing concepts, but is really bare-bones essentials, and is a bit out of date. It does not really cover the application of concepts, just the concepts themselves.

The book concisely presents the typical topics for the Calculus 3 course. This book can be served as a quick review but not as a first introduction to the multivariable calculus.
