Alpine Swiss Expandable Leather Attache Briefcase Dual Combination Locks 1 Year Warranty

Hinge broke after 2 months of light office use. The locking mechanism does not engage, so I need to push the metal bolt closed on one side.It's a really beautiful case, but I guess there are quality control issues. That being said, 90% of it is still functional, but that broken hinge on one side makes me sad every time I used it.I tried contacting alpine swiss a week ago with no response.

This attaché case is just terrible. I have primarily used it just to store papers and not for travel. Even with that very minimal use the stitching has all come apart. I'm really surprised and disappointed. This is very poorly made and certainly will not hold up for travel

Great quality product for this price point. Looks like it will last for awhile. Hinges feel solid and locks open nicely with a solid sound when opening. Looking forward to using this case.Slightly heavy case but not too bad. Does not come with instructions on how to change the lock code. To change the code first open the case and push the lock tab toward the middle of the case (opposite of opening the lock) and while holding on that position change the numbers to your desired code.

The briefcase was defective with a pealed corner, loose threads and latches that don't close properly.

Don't waste your time with this one. Complete piece of junk. Looks good but the main thing is that the tumbler locks are junk. The combo is set however any code can be entered and with pressure the latches release. The price is fooling. You would think pay more for quality however it is junk. Good luck with trying to get warranty claims filed too. Never received a response.

After that, seams start to separate. At 2 years, it's toast. But for the price, thats $25/yr for a briefcase. I tend to stuff my heavy and full, so you might easily get more life out of it. I like the compartment layout. Locks are typical of cheaper attache cases - tad crooked and subject to breaking. Little heavy but not bad. Decent purchase for the money

My dad bought an almost identical briefcase over 30 years ago when he was studying ministry. One day he sent me to get it and it was held together by tape. Tears came to my eyes. I offered him many briefcases, but he wanted this one. I went on the Amazon website and found this one. When he received it, he was ecstatic! He sat them side by side and noticed just a slight difference. I was so happy for him and so proud of Amazon and Alpine for helping me out!!!! Best purchase ever!!!!

Well i rarely leave product feedbacks. This one is outstanding i dont find a lot of product worth review on amazon the other one is a made in USA blower. In the modern world of made in China. Im a Chinese, i know what crappy private label product is and i know what quality designed original product is. This one is definitely not a private label generic product ships from my country. There are thousands of thousands of amazon product that looks branded in fact they are garbage private label things which cost them couple of dollars and sells for 30 dollars. They just put a customized designed brand logo on a generic product and call it branded. Which is definitely rip off.I highly recommend this briefcase. The metals on the case is sturdy, not aluminium, its steel and stitches are well made.Inside is neat and nice. Liners and screws all in place and fit perfectly.i`ll update after my first day of usage.Vic
