Works Great
Finally I found some lights that work. I had ordered and tested several lights with built-in resistors for my 2015 GMC Sierra and they all failed and would not stop the hyper flash. These lights actually work. I just plugged them in and they worked. How long they will last remains to be seen. They are bright too. I am very pleased.

Perfect, like a charm!
I bought a silicone mat & cut it up to size of the resisters to add an extra layer of protection from heat exposure & zip tied them to keep the silicone in place. Also, I added the silicone grease that came with the LED’s & wrapped the connectors with a good amount of electrical tape to make sure water doesn’t get in between the connection preventing possible rust. The LED’s work perfectly & hope they stay that way. Worth the price & effort. No hyper flashing!

works great. until water gets in
March 13, 2022 addendum to previous review. --- Been using these just fine, until a week ago I noticed 1 of my 4 tail lights were not coming on. Then a few days later, I was getting the hyper flash error in my dash.I figured, I must have just bought a bad batch of lights back in February and ordered another one a few days ago, to replace it. I open up the tail light fixture and see the problem right away. Water got in and corroded the contacts. I still replaced the light anyway, but now I have to clean and secure the other three from water. I used black balloons and and zip ties to secure the connection point from waterIf you're using these on a fixture that can be exposed to water, i recommend securing the connection from water. They will not last if you just plug it in and reinstall the light fixture to your vehicle. On my vehicle the stock light contact is secured within the light fixture, but since these leds have a resistor added, the connection point is exposed.Mine only lasted a month.Bought in Feb 2022 review -- Installed these to replace the non resistor leds I bought previously. No issues. Not getting the error message in my dash stating turn signal maldunction anymore.

Will order again.
Don't waste your time with soldering resistors or using scotch locks with those other LED tail lights. These are perfect! They fit my 2014 Silverado with no problems and they are brighter than my previous LEDs. I just replaced the left side and the right will be next.

Great Lights But Resistor Gets Hot!!
Installed these on a 2020 Tacoma TRD OR. Quality seems good. Installation was fairly easy but they provide zero instructions. Just be aware that the resistor needs to be secured somehow. Mine didn't include a mounting hole but luckily I was able to zip tie the wires in a way that allowed the resistor to sit snug against a body support next to the tail light. I wouldn't let a plastic zip tie come into contact with the resistor. Contrary to what the features state, the resistor will get hot...at one point I measured it at 200+ degrees but this is with my hazards on for 30 or more minutes. During day-to-day use heat won't be an issue. The resistors only engage when using the turn signal. They won't heat up when using your regular lights at night. So the only time heat will be a concern is if you're using your hazards for an extended length of time. Overall I'm happy so we'll see how they hold up over time.

Hyper Flashing!
Received these back in Sept "23". Installed in a 2018 Chevy Colorado for the rear tail and turn signal. Evething worked as advertised until 2 days ago i started getting an error on the dash and they started hyper flashing. I've tried unplugging and re-plugging. Tried with the headlights on and off; no help. Very disapointed!!! Only 5 months and they are not working as advertised.

Excellent product, except . . .
These LED brake lights are super-bright and took care of the flickering and dash warning problems that I had with my older LED lights, so I have no complaints about their actual performance. I took off one star because I wish the wires on either end of the resistor were shorter -- its total length is almost a foot long. Fortunately I had room to tuck the extra length behind my lights, but some applications might not have that extra room. If the total length could be reduced to 8" or even 6", it would be perfect. Otherwise, it's an excellent product.

Good product but resistor gets very hot
This is a nice light, my OEM taillight went out after 80k miles and I got this as a replacement. It’s built very nice fits my 2016 Chevy Malibu LT perfectly. It’s easy to install but it’s not the same as the original. You have to plug it into the light socket after you take the old one out then you’re left with the light and the resistor which has a decent length wire that’s wrapped in silicone. This one does not twist and lock like the old one since it’s a soft silicone around it you just push it into place which is kind of nice and you can turn it if you need to. My biggest issue with this product is the resistor gets very hot. I took my taillight assembly out and left my hazards on for about 15 minutes and 5 minutes in the resistor box was too hot touch and hold on my hand. The description says that it gets hot so I was expecting this but it worries me because I’m the Malibu the taillight has no where to ziptie the box where it isn’t touching anything. I will update the review I’m going to keep an eye on this and make sure it doesn’t melt anything.UPDATE: 3/5/21 I recently started driving for Amazon flex and I did a 4.5hr route using my car and lights/ hazards for a prolonged period. I took the taillight out after I got home and everything was fine. So apparently the resistor gets very hot but is not quite hot enough to melt things. If I end up having any issues with this I will update again.
