Aussie Ice Silicone Slushy Maker with Spoon Straw, Red

I am really disappointed with this item. First of all it doesn't even hold a full can of pop. It takes quite a bit of work to make a slushy, because of the way the sides are, it makes it hard to get the slushy out and forget trying to pour it into a glass. I have had acrylic mugs in the past and they have always done an excellent job with very little work. The only problem with acrylic mugs is that eventually they start to crack and leak, but they do hold up for a long time before they do. I have an acrylic mug on order. They are the best ones I have found so far.UPDate:Received my freezer mug and I just love it. It has a kind of gel in it so I think it will last longer than the mugs that had liquid in them before. Makes great slush with no effort. I had ordered the blue freezer mug but it is not available at this time. Order another type will see if it works as well.

I'm completely disappointed with this purchase, when I got it I thought it wasn't quite right, the freeze liquid seemed nearly empty. There were no signs of leaking so I gave it a go. Did absolutely nothing. So I put it back in the freezer for a week, put chilled drink in it, sat the whole thing in the freezer for half an hour and still absolutely nothing! Apart from horrible plastic tasting drink.I recommend you buy this in a store so you can be sure that it is full of freezing liquid. Others have had great success so I know the product does work, when it's not a faulty item. I really want a refund and am not happy.

I am disappointed that it takes sooooo long to get a fairly icy slush. The silicone cup has to be placed in the freezer 3 times over a 2 hour period and massaged after each placement to finally get fair results.

This just sits in the freezer taking up space these days. Requires a lot of effort to make a slushy, not really worth the cost.

You're better off just freezing the drink yourself and using a spoon. Just threw it out this morning......never once did what it claimed. Don't throw your money away!

Couldn't get any liquid to freeze in this silly thing .....don't waste your money! What more can Ii,say Amazon, right?

Got it for my daughter for Christmas, and friend's requests that she bring it with her if she goes to their houses.
