addi Flexi Flip Bamboo Knitting Needles (Set of 3) - US 5 (3.75mm)

I love the Flexiflips. My hands used to ache when knitting in the round with double point needles. I think there was just too much strain with the distortion of the piece as I was knitting and the awkward positioning of the needles. My hands don’t hurt know and I’m super fast at knitting in the round now.I’ve heard people tell me just to use circular needles to knit in the round. I’ve tried that and circular needles are usually to long for the smaller things I want to knit. The flexiflips are the perfect solution.I have both the metal and bamboo versions. I prefer the bamboo because they are lighter and quieter and feel warmer in my hands. And of course because they are less slippery I feel I have better control. The metal versions I feel like my gauge ends up just slightly looser. And I lose some speed with the metal ones because the stitches slide around a little too much for me.These are easy and lightweight. I reach for them every time.

I love Flexi Flips. I've been a knitter for years, and I've done double points and magic loop when knitting in the round, and Flexi Flips are a game changer. It took me a couple of minutes to understand how they work, but once I got the hang of them, I'll NEVER go back to any other method of knitting in the round. You can go so fast! You're knitting on 2 needles instead of 4, so half as many needle changes. I never have any laddering when I knit using Flexi Flips. I like these bamboo needles, and I also really like the metal ones. I highly recommend that knitters give them a real try- they are worth it!

These needles are much easier to use than double pointed needles when working in the round. I used them when knitting sleeves on a baby sweater and when making a hat. I want to give them a try on socks.

I use these for knitting my knitted knockers. The length on these is better then the metal ones. It’s so much better.

Learning to use these knitting needles in place of the DPN needles. Like the bamboo shafts.
