Leaf Net - Used Like a Tarp- Forms a Bag with a Pull String... 8 Ft. X 8 Ft .Spread

This thing is amazing! There are so many leaves that fit in this net. Neighbors all stop to watch me drag this huge pile of leaves across the yard to the burn pile. One word of advice - Spray paint the stakes a bright color as they are easy to lose if you drop one or if it pulls out. Great product!

The net worked great for the big leaf jobs. Eliminating numerous trips using garbage cans. It was pretty easy to pull once it was filled to the maximum with the leaves. It appears that it may tear after dragging it many times and unfortunately I needed to drag it over concrete which probaly did not help its durability. It is well worth the price and I do not regret my purchase!

Trees are the predominant feature in the suburb I live in. I have long concluded that my house in the vortex-leaf center of the entire neighborhood. For years I have made do with a makeshift tarp to lug the leaves to the wooed area behind the house where I make compost (I could go into business!) I decided there had to be a better method. And so I came across the leaf-lugger from Get Organised (see my review of that as well). Having ordered that I then came across the Leaf Net. So I decided to just buy both. The Leaf Net is the better buy. It is a little trickier to spread out than the lugger but is simpler and lighter. And is more maneuverable, especially through my narrow back-fenced-in-area gate It is also easier to empty then the lugger. It is however not quite as easy to lift. You will need a glove on you main lifting hand using the other to coil the rope as you draw the net closed because the cord is so thin it'll cut in to your hand. The stakes are a nice idea but I found you didn't really need them as you `sweep' the leaves on to the spread net. And being light net it is more useful when the leaves are wet. Both lugger and net were delivered in 3 days from order standard shipping. Gets my recommendation

Excellent product. Worked as expected.

This product is ok, does what it says it would but I prefer a solid tarp this is mesh and your rake gets caught in it and also gets snagged on things.

The concept is great but the practicality of the item is limited by the arrangement of the ropes used to close the device. They tend to twist, kink and tangle constantly and it takes longer to lay the the tarp out then it does to haul the leaves away. I work as a professional landscaper and thought I'd give it a try but it doesn't work nearly as well as a regular $18 16x 12 tarp.

It's a good size for me to drag when it is loaded and the drawstring is convenient to keep everything together, although it takes a little foresight to make sure you don't cover the string while you are raking. I couldn't get it to lay flat enough to not trap leaves under the edge while you are raking, but it is not bad and it helped make a big job easier.

Very durable and well-designed. 8 X8 net will hold a LOT of leaves!!!
