Works great. Used on aurora r11. Installed additional front fan in 3.5 hdd slot using another factory fan and custom bracket for a precision 3650. Wanted it to run with top fan since they share same area. With fan hub connected to top fan header, top fan connected to speed sensing spot on hub and additional front fan connected to hub they both work together. Even passes bios and dell support assist hardware tests. Compact enough to fit well and was able to run cables along factory harness.

Compact, easy to hook up, and gets the job done. The included 3M adhesive wasn't great but it's nothing some mounting tape or some plastic velcro couldn't fix. Would buy again if needed.

This fan hub has become my new go-to PWM/powered hub. It has a capacitor to stabilize the power. It fits eight 4-pin PWM connections. The best part is that the power and PWM control cables come out of the same side of the hub, so it is easy to place the hub into the side of a build. Some may say that since the PWM control cable is soldered into the hub, it is not as desirable as other configurations.I have no issues with the cable being soldered, but I suppose Silverstone could add that as a feature.These hubs are connected to Corsair Commander Pro and Commander Core XT hubs. I have many brands of fans connected to them in different builds: Noctua, Corsair, Nidec Gentile Typhoon, Silverstone, and a few generic fans as well.This is a great hub—buy with confidence that it will do the job it was manufactured to do.

Had to come to the reviews to find out 1 fan needs to be in the port with a shiny part above it for mb to read fan Rpm.Also you need to really push them in. But it works fine

At the time of writing this the top review claims that this hub causes fans to only run at 100%. This is untrue. The way it works is that it uses one fan header and all the fans run at the same speed as that header outputs. So if you go into your BIOS and have a fan curve all fans attached to the hub will run at the same speed. Using this hub is better than a splitter (or daisy-chaining PST fans) because it pulls power directly from the SATA power instead of the motherboard.Users whose hubs are running fans at 100% all the time have one of the following problems:1.) All fans must be PWM. These are the four-pin connectors. Three-pin DC fans will not work.2.) The fan header must be PWM.You must have a four-pin connector on the motherboard.3.) THE HEADER MUST BE SET TO PWM MODE IN BIOS. I believe that's where most of the problems are coming in. Sometimes headers are PWM capable but are not running in PWM mode by default. Check your BIOS to make sure.4.) There must be a fan plugged into the port with the glossy bit above it. It is the one with the indents surrounding it. If this one is not used then there is no feedback to the motherboard and it will not control the fans properly.If you have all of these things then the fans should spin up and down in speed. If they don't then maybe you have a faulty unit. For me, this was an easy and inexpensive way to add more fans without overloading the power output of my motherboard.

product does what it was made to do at 1st i was not sure i wanted to get this item since i seen some review with it shorting out but my psu is of good brand and quality i had no such issue with this item ite will control all you 4 pin pwm fans yes you can use 3 pins as well but they will run at full speed all the time but the box and the item description explain that very well at 1st i did hook up 3 3pin corsair airflow fans but man they sounded like jet fans and just after 3 days i just could not stand the sound i got a headache lucky for me i had some other 3 pin fans from phantesk with lower rpm to replace the corsair ones the phanteks had lower rpm still running at full speed had no jet sound and could still feel a great amount of airflow eventually i replaced those as well with some Noctua chromax fans everything is fine no shorts no bent pins nothing negative to say about this product just make sure you case has a spot for you to place the lil hub is all i have a Lian Li PC-O11DW 011 Dynamic so i had no issue with space

I was trying to figure out how I could run more than one PWM fan off a single PWM header (on my ASUS STRIX X570-E) and I found that none of them could do more than one (when trying to use a 2-way or 3-way splitter).I figured this was due to the power requirements to push 4x NF-A14 iPPC 2000 and I was correct. Once I replaced the splitter with this powered PWM hub, I then suddenly had full control.Note: Certain motherboards CAN push more than 1x PWM fan off a single header (using splitters), so you probably want to check if you need one of these first. However, if you do need one, this is a great solution. It's tiny, versatile and not very expensive. Nearly all controllers on Amazon cost as much or more than the Silverstone hub.Note: This controller was not made to control 3-pin fans, while it will support them, you have no control over their speed. Other controllers have better 3-pin support, so look around if you need a 3-pin hub. Or else you are going to be really annoyed when you find that you can't control them!Highly recommended!

I was worried from reviews that said the fans would be on max rpm all the time. This is not the case if your fan headers on the mobo and fan connectors have 4 pins.The hub has two cables, one is to plug into sata power from the psu, the other is to plug into a fan header on the motherboard. I have this cable plugged into my cpu fan header, which is a 4 pin and can adjust fan speeds according to the temps of the cpu. I then connected my cpu cooler to the glossy port on the hub and the rest of my 4 pin fans to the other non-glossy ports. The result is my fans run normally while idle and speed up when the cpu temps increase. I have not tried to adjust individual fan speeds, so I cannot say if this works or not for that use case. I use whatever stock fan curve the mobo is set to.
