Easy to use
Phone seems to have a short life ? 2years.The battery does seem to need recharging quite frequently although I am not a heavy user. Otherwise a good phone for ease of use as I don't have, or want a smart phone. Clarity of sound as I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids.

Found by my daughter - love it!
Purchased to replace old phone which I could not hear ring and could barely hear when I made or managed to receive a call. This one is amazing. I can actually hear! My daughter say's that she doesn't have to shout anymore. I leave my hearing aid in when she phones and I phone her more often as it is so easy. Before it was a lot of repeating and spelling out of words on the phone and guesswork. We are both relieved. I cannot recommend this phone enough. I have profound hearing loss on both sides and this had given me back independence and the ability to be in contact with loved ones. Thank you Geemarc. Excellent work.

Solid and stylish
My first mobile phone was a clamshell, but it didn’t last long and I changed to a ‘flat’ style phone, which was replaced by an Android one when its screen went peculiar. The Android had more apps than I needed and proved expensive to run until I restricted it to phone and text. I found it awkward to use, too, as I have arthritis in my hands..I came across this geemarc while browsing through the phones on Amazon. It not only looks good, but is a clamshell style, which I prefer, and designed for those of us whose advancing years have affected their hearing. It is robust, well-designed and easy to set up and use.EDITThree years on and it's still working well. Cannot understand the adverse comments; I'm still quite happy with it!EDITHave just changed the battery as the original one needed charging more often. (2017 - 2020)4 years on, and apart from a chip when I dropped it, is still working well. Quite happy with it and would still recommend it to anyone with hearing loss, like me, or who prefers the clamshell to the 'smart' phone unless you want all those bells and whistles. All I need is phone and text.5 years on and still good, but I dropped it and the hinge is broken.I am still pleased with it and am now ordering a rreplacement.

A simple, easy to use phone
I'm very pleased with this phone. The talking keypad reassures you that you've dialled correctly and you can send text messages even if it's a rather slow and laborious process. The volume is excellent and the phone takes both the Sim cards I have [previously had to keep two phones charged, one per Sim]. The only thing less good than my old Doro clamshell is that this phone doesn't appear to have an external indicator of a missed call or unopened text message.

First Impressions.
It it a nice phone, a dual screen with a large clock on the outside. Had a little difficulty making the SIM work, had to use the second slot. The menu system is a mess, very complicated and often repeats itself and it's functions. The main screen is a travesty - you have two messages about the SIM's installed and/or your chosen network provider (I assume) permanently displayed, if you have the the volume amplified a very nasty RED warning about it adds to the clutter - it will completely ruin your chosen wallpaper.I just returned the Doro 2404 mobile because the volume was too low even for me, as this is just for emergencies I will reluctantly keep it. The volume is a little louder but no where near enough to warrant a warning, hopefully my elderly Mum can hear it.The rest is pretty typical, pretty large buttons, the usual green/red telephone buttons. Let down by a shoddy operating system unless someone know how yo clear the screen, because I couldn't find how to.

Its rubbish!
Got this because the wife wanted a simple phone for occasional use, after reading the reviews this seemed to fit the bill. After unpacing it and inserting the SIM card from the original phone, we had no signal at all (reception isn't great here, but you always get some signal), so after many attempts to get it to work we left it on charge thinking that it may take time to re-register to the network. The following day still nothing doing, so after switching it off and back on again a few times, we gave up went to car phone warehouse and bought a Nokia, which was up and working within 30 minutes.I can't recommend this Geemark phone as it didn't work out of the box and the menu system is overly unfriendly, on the plus side it looks good is about all you can say about it.

Super phone does all I require
Super phone does all I require, extra loud volume (should you need that facility) Clear reception, and easy to use. I have turned off the 'human voice' facility but would be great for partial sighted owners. Big buttons and clear screen. No earphone needed either for the radio.
