The blocks came in a nice carrier, the T-pins were high quality and rust proof, the mats were nice and thick and interlocked well. I did not notice any smell even though I was blocking a piece in a small closet (to keep my demon cats away). The grid on the mats was extremely helpful. 10 out of 10.

Did exactly what it needed to do. It was my first time blocking my knitting and the instructions were simple and set up was easy. Solid equipment. I was really pleased with the results. And I love the easy storage to keep everything from getting lost among my crafts. Didn’t notice any smell.

Thick enough that the Tpins don't poke through. Good quality blocks and pins. Block grids do absolutely match up (as opposed to people who say they don't) I have 2 sets and both match, as one set or both sets together. I treated it like a puzzle. For each set I put the ones together that matched exactly and kept going till I had them all in a large square. Then I numbered the blocks, on the back with permanent marker, so that I didn't have to spend time matching them again. The carrying case was very much worth the extra cost for me, so I can take them with me or so they stay together on the shelf.

Exactly what I needed. Plenty of space for blocking. The pins that come with it are strong and durable. No rusting. I didn’t notice any strong smell. Very easy to use and thick material. The function of the material itself is very strong and everything stayed in place while blocking.

I would have given a 5-star rating, except the quantity of blocks falls short of meeting the needs of even a baby-size crocheted blanket. Storage case is top notch though; I've ordered a second set so I can block my project.

Love the bag it comes with for storage. Pieces assemble easily and the front pocket of the bag has the pins needed.

I love that I can make a large grid and get lots of squares pinned and blocked at once. Works great!
