Does its job, which is #1! This product works, and turns on during a loss of power. The only change to this product would be to have LED's go on so you can find it (or it provides minimum lighting during an emergency), then you can selct Xenon or Halogen mode. My streamlight, that looks like a mag lite does this. Over all it is great and we bought a lot for work.

Works just fine, but it is very heavy.Thats my fault for not checking on that in the first place.Pops on as soon as the power shuts down.Beam is strong but not adjustable.The light head can be turned in about any direction you want.(so mount the base square and then turn / privet as needed)Not sure if it was worth the money, but works well enough that I will not be looking to return it.

I purchased this item for my parents who live in an area of Florida with a large population of Black Bears. This light has actually "chased" some Bears away from their house! It does all it says it will do, and MORE!!
