I can always trust this family to produce something fun.

These videos are plenty entertaining to watch, and give you a little glance at the life of "the duck commander" before he was as big as he is now.Now, these early videos are clearly lower quality than the newer ones in the Duckmen series, so if you're expecting it to be on level with anything done in the past few years, you'll be disappointed. As long as you understand these were filmed in the late 80s and early-to-mid 90s, you'll enjoy them.These boys can shoot! You'll have to watch for a long time before you see a shot miss.

Even if you don't duck hunt, this is some great entertainment.

This video stars Phil Robertson and others as they duck hunt in Louisiana. If you're a avid duck hunter this DVD is great but beware it will make you a little depressed if you watch during the off season. If you're not a duck hunter but like reality TV and happened to watch Duck Dynasty, I would advise you to quit watching poor "reality" programs and start enjoying the outdoors and to start hunting. Watching this DVD will surely make you want buy a jon boat and hit the lakes come October (or whenever your season starts).

I ordered duckmen videos 10,13,14 for my husband's birthday. This video was before their Benelli sponsorship, which may be why the video quality is very poor. You can't hear them talking and the video isn't the best quality. The ducks are far off and whoever is videotaping is standing behind a tree for a good part of the video, so you get a lot of tree bark. The video is just like if you had taken a home video of yourself duck hunting, which is fine, but you get spoiled on high quality videography w/ the later Duckmen videos, where you can see the ducks coming in and what type they are, and hear Silas and Jase arguing (that's definitely worth listening to!).

It's not bad for it's time, but we are so used to a better production in today's day and age.It is interesting to see how a duck hunter thinks and spends time with each other, and see the camaraderie they have . It's also neat to see a younger Phil Robertson in action. Over all, I liked the 2nd and third DVD a lot better then the #1 disk. I'm glad I got it, and if your an avid Duck Dynasty person, you'll want it for your collection.John from Bellingham, Massachusetts.

Although episode one reminds me of the youtube spoof, "Man on a Buffalo," they do get better. Given the fact that Phil shot the very first one with some brothers from his church, they did a pretty fair job for a bunch of amateurs.
