Better than I expected for the price!
This is a great little camera for the price. The sound quality in videos isn't great, but the still picture quality is excellent, and the video quality is as expected for the resolution of the camera. I got enough video and pictures to fill an 8 GB SD card out of a set of standard duracell batteries, which seems reasonable to me. I mount the camera to my bike's handlebar and take it on nature trails and the camera has handled all the bumps and jostling okay. I wouldn't want to drop it or keep it out in the rain but it's rugged enough to handle what I've put it through so far..Update after almost 2 months of use... As I mentioned above, I have this camera mounted on the handlebar of my bike, which I've taken for many miles on bumpy roads and dusty dirt trails. So the camera has been subjected to a lot of vibration, bumps, and shakes. It still works as good as new.At least one review mentioned problems with the auto-focus, and another with the USB cable. I've had no problems at all with either. Jut connect the cable from the camera to your PC and it pops up as an external hard drive from which you can copy, paste, and delete just like any other drive. You can connect to the camera by USB cable even when the camera batteries are dead. But note that if you use rechargeable batteries you CANNOT recharge the batteries through the camera and USB connection. You have to have a separate charger for your batteries. Good AA non-rechargeable batteries last me for a couple of weeks, typically taking several hundred still photo and half an hour or so of video. Batteries are cheap, and I prefer a camera that uses standard batteries that I can get anywhere, rather than a special type of rechargeable battery that you can only get online or at a specialty battery store when you need a replacement or spares. This camera is simple to use, with standard, straight-forward and intuitive menus and buttons for controlling the settings, auto-flash, viewing your pictures, formatting the optional SD card, and etc,.

It's a dog
Well, this was a disappointment. This thing worked for about a month. Then it declined to be turned on. The self-help from the company actually has a specific help item for "camera won't turn on." They advise taking the batteries out and putting them back in. Okay. That worked, until it didn't. There was a short period when it would turn on if I took the batteries out every time I turned it on. And then it died. Really, most sincerely.

Great camera for the price!!
I have an older Kodak Easy Shot camera that I have loved, but it is starting to have problems, so I had purchased another Kodak easy shot, which I don't particularly like.. It doesn't take very good pictures inside at all and to get a good shot, you have to adjust the settings over and over again, which kind of defeats the title of Easy Shot.. With that in mind, I was kind of hesitant in buying this camera.. It had some great reviews, I asked some questions of other customers, got great answers, and finally decided to just give it a try.. I'm so glad I did.. I'm in love with my Kodak camera again. It's easy to use, takes awesome pictures, inside and out, and is lightweight and easy to manuver... I prefer this over my new Easy Shot any day and now just carry that camera with me to take pictures outdoors..This is my go to camera for most everything now.. For an inexpensive camera, this really is a great deal!

Battery suggestions
Many complain about the short battery life in using these Kodak PixPro's. Read the instruction manual carefully. There are settings that drain the batteries faster. One is Continous Auto-Focus. Also, use Energizer Lithium AA's. Lithium batteries are designed for high-drain electronics. That being said, it may be some cameras have a battery problem? I used the batteries that came with the camera and they showed half battery power and I took 4 shots and it showed the batteries as drained. I put new alkaline AA's in and the icon showed full power and I took 9 shots with no drain showing. So mine seems to work fine even with alkaline AA's. But I've always used lithium and will be loading those pronto. The above photo was taken on the Fine setting for megapixel compression. I've reset it to Best and will have to try that yet. Some photos were not great but it had to do with the auto-focus being slow, I think.

Does not charge
It's cute for a day then the batteries die and you can't even charge the camera. The screen glitches and has an error connectivity message. It is a good size and takes good pictures. Not amazing quality but good enough. Good zoom and very easy to use and learn but still. This was too annoying so I returned.

This is one cool camera with image stabilization
It is very simple and easy camera to operate but quite versatile and comes with image stabilization. I use 2 rechargeable Duracell AA batteries and 64 GB micro SD with an SD adapter and get excellent results. It is not a professional camera, but for most household use, it delivers excellent pictures with great vibrancy with very little photography know-how... It has a macro feature and it is great BUT if and when the flash kicks in, it becomes overwhelming at short distances. Finally, the flash takes 3-4 seconds to charge, so that slows things down.

Great for no tech Mom
Purchased for mom who doesn’t want anything new, lol. She is thrilled with the pictures and the ease of use much like her old one from 10 years ago.

My feelings about the camera I purchased.
I am very unhappy with the camera but I think it is just because I can't really learn how to use it. Not as simple as I expected.
